Soccer Pitch Resurfacing — Replace Worn Turf, Reuse Your Base

If your artificial soccer pitch is worn, flat or unsafe, resurfacing is the smart fix: we remove the old turf, repair the base where needed and install brand-new football turf — at a fraction of the cost of a new build.

Our Resurfacing Process

  1. 1. Free pitch inspection. We assess the turf, seams, infill levels and — critically — the condition of the existing base and drainage.
  2. 2. Old turf removal. The worn carpet is lifted and removed. A sound base is reused, saving you up to 40% versus a new build.
  3. 3. Base & drainage repairs. Low spots are re-levelled, compaction corrected and drainage checked so the new surface performs.
  4. 4. New turf installed. New 40mm, 50mm or 60mm football turf is laid, seamed and lined — FIFA approved options available.
  5. 5. Fresh infill & handover. New silica sand and rubber infill is brushed in to spec and the pitch is handed over match-ready.

Resurface or Rebuild?

In most cases the existing stone base and drainage can be reused, which makes resurfacing far cheaper than new pitch construction. If we find base failure during inspection, we quote targeted repairs rather than a full rebuild. New turf supply starts at R179/m² — choose from 40mm, 50mm or 60mm, non-FIFA or FIFA approved. We also handle smaller soccer pitch repairs if a full resurface isn't needed yet.
